Lissolepis coventryi (Storr, 1978)

Size

Lissolepis coventryi has an average snout-to-vent length of 8 centimeters (3.1 inches), and a long tail that measures almost one and a half times its snout-to-vent length.

Distribution

This species occurs in the Australian states of South Australia and Victoria; it may also be found in New South Wales.

Habitat

Its preferred natural habitat is freshwater wetlands, including marshes and swamps.

Reproduction

Lissolepis coventryi reproduces via viviparity.
