Liolaemus aparicioi, formally described by Ocampo, Aguilar-Kirigin and Quinteros in 2012, is a small species within the Liolaemus genus.
Size and Morphometrics
Adult individuals can reach a maximum snout-to-vent length of approximately 6 centimeters (2.4 inches), and their tail length is almost twice the length of their snout-to-vent length.
Distribution
This species is native to western Bolivia, where it occurs within the Department of La Paz.
Habitat and Altitude Range
Its preferred natural habitat is dry forest, located at altitudes ranging from 3,000 to 3,900 meters (9,800 to 12,800 feet) above sea level.
Reproductive Mode
As of currently available data, the reproductive mode of Liolaemus aparicioi has not been confirmed.
