About Lintneria lugens Walker, 1856

Lintneria lugens Walker, 1856 is similar in appearance to Lintneria eremitus, but reaches a larger size. It has small black spots on the pale underside of its abdomen. The upperside of its forewing is blackish grey, while the underside of the forewing has two narrow, faint median bands. This species has been recorded in Mexico, Honduras, and Nicaragua.
