About Limonium perezii (Stapf) F.T.Hubb. ex L.H.Bailey
Limonium perezii (Stapf) F.T.Hubb. ex L.H.Bailey is a tough perennial herb that grows from a woody rhizome. Its thick oval to round leaves, which include petioles, can reach up to around 30 centimeters (12 inches) in length. The leaves are arranged in a basal rosette around the stem. The plant produces a stiff, branching panicle inflorescence that stands 15 to 45 centimeters (5.9 to 17.7 inches) tall, topped with bushy clusters of small flowers. Each small flower has lavender sepals and white petals. This species is native to the Canary Islands, and is widely cultivated as a garden plant.
