About Lilium pyrenaicum Gouan

Lilium pyrenaicum Gouan, commonly known as Pyrenean lily, yellow Turk's-cap lily, and yellow martagon lily, is native to montane regions. Its range is centered mainly on the Pyrenees, starting in Spain and extending eastward all the way to the Caucasus. This plant can grow up to 1.3 meters tall. It produces up to 12 Turk's-cap shaped flowers, which come in yellow, orange, or red. Lilium pyrenaicum gives off an unusual musky scent that many people find unpleasant.
