Leucorrhinina rubicunda, commonly known as the northern white-faced darter or ruby whiteface, is a species of dragonfly. Its distribution range extends across Europe eastward to the Altai Mountains, and it is predominantly a northern species; it is one of the few dragonfly species that is common north of the Arctic Circle. Its southernmost known location is Northern Belgium, and it can also be found throughout Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Fennoscandia, Belarus, Ukraine, and Russia. This dragonfly is most commonly found in natural habitats around peatlands and bogs.
