Leucopogon fasciculatus, which has the scientific name Leucopogon fasciculatus (G.Forst.) A.Rich., is commonly known as tall mingimingi. It is a shrub species that belongs to the family Ericaceae. This species is endemic to New Zealand. In the North Island of New Zealand, it grows in areas located north of the Bay of Plenty and Taranaki. In the South Island, it occurs in north west Nelson. It can be found growing in red and silver beech forests mixed with rimu and miro podocarps in the northern part of the South Island. Leucopogon fasciculatus acts as the host plant for Pyrgotis pyramidias, a moth species that is endemic to New Zealand.
