About Leucania obsoleta Hübner
Leucania obsoleta, commonly known as the obscure wainscot, is a moth species belonging to the superfamily Noctuoidea. Jacob Hübner first described this species in 1803. This moth is found in Europe. The forewings of this moth measure 15 to 18 millimeters in length. The moth produces one generation per year, which flies from early May to late July. The larvae of Leucania obsoleta feed on plants from the Phragmites genus.
