About Leptocneria reducta Walker, 1855

Leptocneria reducta, commonly known as the white cedar moth, is a moth species belonging to the subfamily Lymantriinae. This species was first formally described by Francis Walker in 1855. It can be found throughout Australia, with the exception of Tasmania. Females have an approximate wingspan of 45 mm, while males have an approximate wingspan of 35 mm. The larvae of this moth feed on Melia azedarach.
