About Lema daturaphila Kogan & Goeden, 1970
Adult Lema daturaphila measure 7 to 8 millimeters in length, and are a bright orange-yellow colour. Their elytra are marked with dark lines: one on each side, and one running along the suture between the two elytra. This marking pattern is the source of the species' common name. The larvae are slug-shaped, with black heads.
