About Ledebouria revoluta (L.f.) Jessop

Ledebouria revoluta has smooth, fleshy leaves that are already present when its flowers emerge, a trait that distinguishes it from some other Ledebouria species. The venation of its leaves is unclear, and the leaf margins are usually the same color as the rest of the leaf surface. This species produces densely clustered flowers, which often grow on multiple drooping inflorescences. The flower color ranges from purple to pink, with pink pedicels and pale yellow anthers. Its ovary has six lobes, and its seeds are brown. Unlike some other Ledebouria species, both the leaves and bulb scales of L. revoluta release visible threads when torn.
