About Lebia cruxminor (Linnaeus, 1758)

Lebia cruxminor is a species of beetle first described by Linnaeus in 1758. Adult individuals of this species reach a length of 6 millimetres, or 0.24 inches. Their bodies are colored orange and black. This species was first photographed on 30 March 2002 by Russian entomologist Oleg Berlov in Irkutsk, Russia. The overall distribution of Lebia cruxminor covers Eurasia and North Africa. Confirmed locations for the species include Irkutsk, Russia, and multiple towns in Germany, specifically the Kulbach district of Bavaria and Upper Franconia.
