About Lasthenia gracilis (DC.) Greene
Lasthenia gracilis (DC.) Greene is a typically hairy herb that grows up to 400 millimetres (15.7 inches) tall, and can be either branched or unbranched. Its leaves measure 8–70 millimetres (0.3–2.8 inches) long, are shaped linear to oblanceolate, have no teeth, and are more or less hairy. The involucre of this species measures 5–10 millimetres (0.2–0.4 inches). Each flower head holds 6 to 13 ray flowers, which are 5–10 millimetres (0.2–0.4 inches) long, and numerous disk flowers.
