Lamprotes caureum (Knoch, 1781), also referred to as Lamprotes c-aureum, is a species of moth in the family Noctuidae. Its distribution ranges from Southern Scandinavia south to the Southern Alps, and from Western Europe east to West Siberia. This moth has a wingspan of 34 to 40 millimeters. Adult moths are active from June to September, with the flight period varying by location. The larvae of this species feed on Thalictrum species, including Thalictrum flavum and Thalictrum aquilegiifolium, as well as Aquilegia vulgaris.
