Poliobotys is a monotypic moth genus in the family Crambidae. It was formally described by Jay C. Shaffer and Eugene G. Munroe in 2007. The genus contains only one species: Poliobotys ablactalis, which was originally described by Francis Walker in 1859, and is also referenced by the scientific name Lamprophaia ablactalis (Walker, 1859). This species is found across South-east Asia, as well as in Réunion, Australia, Hong Kong, and multiple African countries including Kenya, Senegal, and South Africa.
