About Lamium orvala L.

Lamium orvala, commonly known as balm-leaved archangel, is a species of flowering plant belonging to the family Lamiaceae. It is native to Europe, specifically to south central Europe, with its native range extending from northeastern Italy to southwestern Hungary. A separate disjunct population of this species grows on Monte Gargano in southeastern Italy. Lamium orvala has also been introduced into Czechoslovakia.
