Lactarius aurantiosordidus, commonly called the sordid orange milk cap, is a species of fungus in the genus Lactarius. Its distribution ranges from northern California to Alaska. This mushroom has an orangish cap that often develops greenish stains; its orangish gills also carry greenish stains. When cut, the mushroom produces a small amount of orangish latex. It grows in coastal forests, where it forms a symbiotic relationship with sitka spruce.
