Kindbergia praelonga, commonly called common feather-moss, is a moss species in the family Brachytheciaceae. This is a medium to large-sized moss that produces pinnate leaves. It has properties that may be beneficial for human health, making it a species of scientific interest. It occurs worldwide in habitats that range from moist to wet. It is counted among the most common moss species found in lowland areas of Great Britain. Two taxa, Eurhynchium praelongum var. stokesii and Kindbergia brittoniae, were previously classified under this species.
