About Kalanchoe delagoensis Eckl. & Zeyh.

Kalanchoe delagoensis Eckl. & Zeyh. is a robust, completely hairless succulent plant. It is either biennial or somewhat perennial, and grows to a height between 0.2 and 2 meters. Its upright stems are simple and round. Its leaves grow in groups of three, and appear arranged either oppositely or alternately along the stem; when spread out, they usually lie straight or held upright. The leaves are slightly cylindrical, with a shallow groove along the upper surface, and measure 1 to 13 centimeters long, with a diameter of 2 to 6 millimeters. The leaf blade narrows toward its base, and ranges in color from reddish-green to gray-green with reddish-brown spots. There are two to nine small teeth along the leaf margin at the leaf tip, and each of these teeth holds numerous brood buds.
