Jamides phaseli, commonly known as the dark cerulean, is a species of butterfly belonging to the family Lycaenidae. It was first described by Gervase Frederick Mathew in 1889. This butterfly is found in north-eastern Australia, ranging from Cape York to south-eastern Queensland, and also occurs in the Northern Territory. It can additionally be found on the Torres Strait Islands.
