Jacobaea paludosa, commonly called fen ragwort, has the synonym Senecio paludosus. This species belongs to the genus Jacobaea in the plant family Asteraceae. Its distribution covers most of Europe, with the exceptions of Finland, Iceland, Ireland, Norway, Portugal, and Russia, and it is also found in northern Italy.
