Ixia rapunculoides, commonly known as the blue kalossie, is a perennial flowering geophyte. It belongs to the genus Ixia and grows in both fynbos and Succulent Karoo vegetation. This species is endemic to South Africa’s Northern Cape and Western Cape provinces, where it occurs in the western Karoo, ranging from Loeriesfontein to Sutherland.
