About Ixia orientalis L.Bolus

Ixia orientalis L.Bolus is a perennial flowering geophyte that belongs to the genus Ixia and is part of the fynbos biome. This species is endemic to South Africa's Eastern Cape and Western Cape provinces, where it occurs across the range from Caledon to Bathurst and the Amathole Mountains. It is the most common and most widespread species within the entire genus Ixia.
