About Iton semamora (Moore, 1865)

Iton semamora, commonly known as the common wight, is a species of skipper butterfly. It is distributed in South Asia and Southeast Asia, with confirmed records from Sikkim, Myanmar, and peninsular Malaysia. A distinct large upright hair-tuft is located on the underside of the forewing at the hind margin. On the underside of the hindwing, the entire cell is white, and the three adjacent cells are also white except for their apex regions.
