Isophya kraussii is an insect species that belongs to the subfamily Phaneropterinae within the family Tettigoniidae. This species occurs in Poland, Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia, and Hungary. It favors bushy dry grasslands, forest edges, and high-growing, slightly wet meadows. Adult forms (imagines) of Isophya kraussii emerge early in the year, starting around mid-June, though most adults are found starting in July.
