About Iris pseudopumila Tineo

Iris pseudopumila Tineo is a perennial plant species. It produces flowers that can be violet, purple, or yellow, and sometimes these colors appear in combination. The flower beards can be white, yellow, or bluish white. This species is native to southeastern Italy, Sicily, Malta, and former Yugoslavia. Two subspecies of Iris pseudopumila are currently accepted. These are Iris pseudopumila subsp. gozoensis N.Service (Gozo Iris) and Iris pseudopumila subsp. pseudopumila, which is found across the full native range of southeastern Italy, Sicily, Malta, and former Yugoslavia.
