The golden-collared honeycreeper, with the scientific name Iridophanes pulcherrimus, is an uncommon Neotropical bird species that belongs to the tanager family Thraupidae. It is the sole species placed in the genus Iridophanes. This species can be found in Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, as well as heavily degraded former forest.
