About Inula hookeri C.B.Clarke

This is a herbaceous perennial species, Inula hookeri C.B.Clarke. It is a tall-stemmed plant that reaches a height of 75 cm (30 in). Each individual plant produces 2 or 3 flower heads. The flower heads can grow up to 8 cm (3.1 in) in diameter, and bloom in late summer and autumn. Each inflorescence is made up of many needle-like yellow ray florets arranged in a disc, which surround a raised central cluster of deeper yellow disc florets.
