Indigofera miniata, commonly known as scarlet pea or coastal indigo, is a flowering plant species belonging to the family Fabaceae. It is native to the U.S. states of Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, and Florida, as well as Mexico, Guatemala, and Cuba. This plant is a prostrate perennial, with stems that reach approximately 60 cm (2 ft) in length, and it produces salmon pink flowers.
