Impatiens pseudoviola Gilg is a perennial plant that reaches 6 to 12 centimeters in height. It produces bright pink flowers from summer through autumn, and has ovate, toothed leaves arranged in an alternate pattern. This species has received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit for garden cultivation. It grows best in a semi-shaded environment. It can be propagated by stem cuttings taken in spring or summer. It is not a hardy species, so it is recommended to keep it indoors over the winter months.
