Hypochaeris robertia is a plant species classified in the tribe Cichorieae of the family Asteraceae, and it is native to the Mediterranean region. It grows in the central Mediterranean, specifically Corsica, Sardinia, Sicily, mainland Italy, and North Africa. This species occurs at elevations between 300 and 2,700 metres (980 to 8,860 feet) above sea level. Its flowering season spans from spring through autumn. Individual flower heads measure 18โ€“22 millimetres (0.71โ€“0.87 inches) across.
