About Hypobapta tachyhalotaria
Hypobapta tachyhalotaria, commonly called the varied grey, is a moth species that belongs to the family Geometridae. It is endemic to Australia, where it is confirmed to be found in Tasmania, and may also occur in New South Wales and Queensland. Before this species was formally described, it was mistaken for the related species Hypobapta percomptaria. The wingspan of adult males ranges from 39 to 42 millimeters, while adult females have a wingspan of 44 to 48 millimeters.
