Hypobapta barnardi, commonly known as Barnard's grey, is a moth species belonging to the family Geometridae. It was first officially described by Gilbert Macarthur Goldfinch in 1929. This species is found in four Australian states: Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia, and Western Australia. Adults of this moth have a wingspan of approximately 30 millimeters. The larvae of Hypobapta barnardi feed on Eucalyptus odorata.
