Hypena abalienalis, commonly known as the white-lined hypena or white-lined bomolocha moth, is a moth species that belongs to the family Erebidae. This species was first formally described by Francis Walker in 1859. Its range extends from southern Canada, south to northern Florida and Texas in the United States. The wingspan of adult Hypena abalienalis measures between 25 and 33 mm. Adults of this moth fly between April and August each year, and the species produces at least two generations per year.
