Hymenopappus artemisiifolius, commonly known as oldplainsman or wooly-white, is a North American flowering plant species belonging to the daisy family. It has only been recorded growing in the south-central United States, specifically in the states of Texas, Arkansas, and Louisiana. Its native natural habitat consists of sandy soils found in prairies and open woodlands. This species is a biennial herb that can grow up to 100 cm (39 inches) tall.
