Hymenocallis speciosa, commonly called the green-tinge spiderlily, is a species in the genus Hymenocallis. It is native to the Windward Islands of the eastern Caribbean. It is grown as an ornamental plant in multiple regions, and has reportedly become naturalized in Cuba and the Bahamas. This species is a bulb-forming perennial herb. Its stipe can grow up to 50 centimeters tall. The leaves are lanceolate, reaching up to 50 centimeters in length and 10 centimeters in width, tapering into a petiole toward the base of the leaf. A single umbel can produce up to 20 flowers. The flowers are white with a faint greenish tinge, and their tepals curl backward (reflex) when the plant is in flower.
