About Hygrocybe lepida Arnolds

Hygrocybe lepida Arnolds is a gilled mushroom (agaric) that belongs to the family Hygrophoraceae. This species is found across Europe. Previously, it was classified under the American species Hygrocybe cantharellus, but it is now recognized as a separate, distinct species. When it was still grouped with H. cantharellus, its recommended common English name was goblet waxcap. Hygrocybe lepida typically grows in nutrient-poor waxcap grassland.
