Hydriris ornatalis, commonly known as the ornate hydriris, is a moth species that belongs to the family Crambidae. It has a broad distribution, and has been recorded from southern Europe, Asia, Australia, Africa, and North America. In North America, its range is restricted to Florida. This moth has a wingspan of approximately 16 mm. The larvae of Hydriris ornatalis feed on plant species in the Convolvulaceae family, including Ipomoea aquatica.
