About Hydriomena deltoidata (Walker, 1862)
Hydriomena deltoidata is a moth species that belongs to the family Geometridae. It was first formally described by Francis Walker in 1862. This species is endemic to New Zealand. The current classification of New Zealand endemic moths placed in the genus Hydriomena is considered unsatisfactory, and this group requires taxonomic revision. Because of this, the species is currently also referred to as Hydriomena (s.l.) deltoidata. Adult individuals of this moth species have been recorded pollinating Dracophyllum acerosum and Leptospermum scoparium.
