This moth can be found in India, Indonesia (specifically on the island of Java), and Australia; within Australia, it has been recorded in Queensland, the Northern Territory, and Victoria. Adult individuals have yellow wings marked with dark orange zigzag lines. The larvae of this species create leaf rolls, and they have been documented feeding on plants from the genus Glochidion.
