It has been documented in Ontario and Saskatchewan in Canada, plus New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee, West Virginia, and western Virginia in the United States. It has also been reported from the mountainous areas of western North Carolina, western South Carolina, and northern Georgia.
