About Holochlora japonica Brunner von Wattenwyl, 1878
Holochlora japonica, described by Brunner von Wattenwyl in 1878, is a medium-sized bush cricket with a solid green body. The male type specimen of this species measures 21 mm (0.83 in) in length. Female individuals of this species have an ovipositor with a darkened tip, and bear black, serrated lines along its sides.
