About Holarrhena pubescens (Buch.-Ham.) Wall. ex G.Don
Holarrhena pubescens is a species of flowering plant that belongs to the family Apocynaceae. It is native to central and southern Africa, the Indian subcontinent, Indochina, and parts of China. This species is sometimes confused with Wrightia antidysenterica, because the name Holarrhena pubescens was published a second time in a taxonomically invalid way. In Cambodia, it is known by two common names: /tɨk dɑh kʰlaː thɔm/ ទឹកដោះខ្លាធំ, which translates to "big tiger milk", and /kʰlaɛɲ kŭəŋ/ ខ្លែងគង់, which translates to "invulnerable kite". In India, its seeds are sold as indraja (इनद्राजा) for use in Ayurvedic medicine.
