About Herpetogramma basalis (Walker, 1866)
Herpetogramma basalis (Walker, 1866) has a wingspan ranging from 20 to 22 mm. Adult individuals of this species are yellowish, with fine black speckles covering their wings. In terms of behaviour and ecology, the larvae of Herpetogramma basalis feed on Amaranthus species, Lantana camara, beetroot, cucurbits, and radish.
