About Hemihyalea edwardsii Packard, 1864
Pseudohemihyalea edwardsii, commonly called Edwards' glassy-wing, is a species of moth belonging to the family Erebidae. This species was first described by Alpheus Spring Packard in 1864. In the United States, it can be found from western Oregon and the Columbia Gorge in southern Washington, southwards to California; within this southwestern range, it extends east to western New Mexico. Its habitat includes low elevation oak woodlands and mixed hardwood forests. The forewings of this moth measure 27–31 mm in length.
