Helietta parvifolia, commonly known as barreta, is a species of flowering plant belonging to the family Rutaceae. It is native to southern Texas in the United States and northeastern Mexico, where it occurs in the Mexican states of Coahuila, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosí, Guanajuato, Querétaro, and Hidalgo. It is a shrub that grows up to 6 meters (20 feet) tall, and it is a member of the Tamaulipan thornscrub plant community.
