Heliconius wallacei, commonly known as Wallace's longwing, is a species of butterfly in the Nymphalidae family. This taxon was first described by Tryon Reakirt in 1866. Its geographic distribution ranges from Venezuela and Trinidad down to southern Brazil and Peru. This species lives in lowland rainforest habitats. Adults have a wingspan between 70 and 75 millimeters. The larvae of this butterfly are gregarious, and they feed primarily on Passiflora species that belong to the subgenus Distephana.
