Hancornia is a genus of flowering plants in the Apocynaceae family. This genus was first formally described in 1812, and it is native to South America, found specifically in Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, and Paraguay. Only one species in the Hancornia genus is known: Hancornia speciosa Gomes. This species is commonly called mangabeira, and its fruits are known as mangabas.
