Hadena filograna Esper is a moth with 30–35 mm wingspan, its brown type form found only in southern Hungarian mountains.

About Hadena filograna Esper

This species has a scientific name of Hadena filograna Esper. Its wingspan measures 30–35 mm. According to Warren, this species is also referenced under taxonomic synonyms H. filigrama Esp., filigramma Frr., and flavivibica Hbn. It resembles Hadena magnolii, but its forewings are dusted with ferruginous scales. The type form of Hadena filograna shares the same brown ground colour as magnolii, with no mixed white colouring. This type form has a restricted range, and has only been authentically recorded in the mountains of southern Hungary.
