Hadena capsincola is a moth species belonging to the family Noctuidae. This species was originally described by Michael Denis and Ignaz Schiffermüller in 1775. Its distribution ranges from Siberia to central Europe. This moth has a wingspan of 26–34 mm, and its wing ground colour is black-brownish. The species produces between one and three generations every year. The larvae of Hadena capsincola feed on plants from the genus Silene, specifically including Silene vulgaris and Silene alba. This species spends the winter in its pupal life stage.
